Clouds and wet weather bring us size 8 mayflies!  Green Drakes can be found hatching on all Missoula rivers.  Hatches of Golden Stones, PMD’s, Caddis, and a few Salmonflies can also be found.  Missoula river conditions are good and so is the fly fishing.  Some pictures from this week………….

Big bugs are hatching around Missoula right now.  Salmonflies and Goldens Stones can be found on Rock Creek, the Blackfoot, and the forks of the Bitterroot.  The dry fly fishing is improving and should continue to improve in most areas as the rivers begin to drop in flows.
