We offer day trips on Montana's best dry fly fishing waters

Missoula Fly Fishing Rates | Day Trips

Full Day — One or Two Anglers……………………$625
Includes lunch, beverages, flies, rods and reels if needed, transportation to and from the river, and approximately 6-7 hours of fishing.

Half Day — One or Two Anglers………………….$525
Includes snacks, beverages, flies, rods and reels if needed, transportation to and from the river, and approximately 3-4 hours of fishing.

Learn to Fly Fish — One or Two Anglers………$575
Never Fly fished? No problem! This trip is geared towards first timers. It includes all the necessary fishing gear as well as lunch and drinks. Transportation to and from the River and expert instruction are also included.   A typical “learn to fly fish trip” includes approximately 4-5 hours of fishing.

Wade Trip — One or Two Anglers………………….$650
Includes lunch, beverages, flies, rods and reels if needed, transportation to and from the river, and 4-6 hours of fishing.

Scenic Trip — One, Two, or Three Non-Anglers………………….$375
Fishing not your thing? Would you like to relax and float down a beautiful Montana river enjoying the mountains? Our scenic trip is a great option for non-anglers. This is also a great option for larger groups where everyone may not be interested in fishing. Includes snacks, beverages, transportation to and from the river, and 3-5 hours of float time. 

(Max 4 anglers per group on WADE trips, additional $100 per angler.)

payment AND REFUND POLICY

Your payment is refundable 30 days or more prior to the start of your trip. A $100 processing fee per reservation will be applied to all refunds regardless of the circumstances. Inside of 30 days payments will not be refunded and paid to the guide for lost work if the trip dates cannot be re-booked. Your payment confirms acceptance of our rate and refund policy.  

Trips cancelled by the outfitter, guide or mutual guide/client decision due to unsafe weather or water conditions, state or federal closures, or other uncontrollable circumstances will have the entire trip refunded.

We try to make our Missoula area guide trips as all inclusive as possible. They include all flies, terminal tackle, rods & reels, lunch, water & soda, transportation to and from the river and of course expert instruction.

What to Bring

Fly Fishing Missoula in July

  • Rod & Reel – Your guide can provide these if you do not have your own.
  • Waders and Boots – During the spring and fall these are highly advised. During the summer months most people wet wade, but this is decided by you and your comfort level.
  • Montana Fishing License – Can be purchased in Missoula when you arrive or online Online Licensing System.
  • Sunglasses & Hat
  • Rain Jacket
  • Layers – A warm layer such as a fleece and a lightweight long sleeve shirt for sun protection
  • Sunscreen
  • Camera
