Winter Fishing Report

The recent arctic blast here in Missoula will clearly stall any quality fishing opportunities in the near future. Our rivers are icy making for a tough go out there.  Skwala fishing is right around the corner though!  Now is a good time to start getting your gear together in anticipation for the spring season.  Throw that old cracked fly line away and buy a new one.  Organize your flies and make sure you’ve got enough tippet and floatant.  Tie up some dry flies for March.  The weather man says that its going to warm up early next week with snow in the forecast from now until then.  Keep hoping that the snow continues.  More snow equals longer dry fly drifts this summer!  Current Missoula River conditions are …….
