Steerhead

We spent a couple of days in Idaho fly fishing on the clearwater river for steelhead.  The south fork is still running at 300 cfs and the word around Kooskia is that it won’t fish well until the water bumps up.  We fished the main river and managed to catch a few.  Its a fun fishing trip for this time of year and can be done on the cheap.   Keep your eye on the weather over there for rain as the fish are loaded up waiting to run up the Southfork with the first push of water.  Kooskia weather forecast
