Bitterroot and Clark Fork Skwala Hatch Update

Finally some consistent dry fly fishing on the Bitterroot River!  The last couple of days of warmer weather bumped up the water temps in the Bitterroot just enough to get the fish looking up and Stoneflies hatching. The dry fly fishing this week should be solid in the cloudy weather that’s in the forecast.  Hatches of Midges, Baetis and maybe a few March Browns are possible if cloudy conditions persist.  Flows are still dropping at this point in the Bitterroot.  Good things to come this week…..
