Missoula Fishing Guides

Our guide boats have been over on the Missouri River and the fishing has been good.  We are up and running and fully operational for 2014.

Warm weather is on tap for the weekend over on the MO, mid 50’s in the forecast. The flows on the Missouri are stable at the dam at around 4000 cfs.  However, Prickly Pear has gone from 40 to 400 cfs in just 48 hours.

“De” booked a trip with us and had a great first day of fly fishing. Nice work De!

Missoula River Conditions

The Blizzard is melting! The rapid snow melt is making its way into the river system.  The graphs show a straight line increase of flows in the Bitterroot and Clark Fork Rivers. The fishing will obviously be off around Missoula until things settle down a bit.  The Missouri is a great option in the meantime.  Skwala dry fly fishing is right around the corner on the Bitterroot and in the Missoula area.  Once the flows turn the corner we will be in for some REALLY good dry fly fishing.  Spring special guide trip pricing: 395 per boat through April.

Reminder: Your fishing license expired at the end of February.  Time for a new one!

Missoula Snowpack Update

Snowpack looks great going into the spring fishing season.  Check out the graph.
